After extensive consideration, the SSVPDX Board of Directors has voted to dissolve our nonprofit corporation.

We found that the benefits of maintaining 501(c)(3) status did not outweigh the resources we expended in its upkeep.

Be assured that the service we offer—our workshops, benefit concerts, and guitar and songwriting coaching--will not change.

This is in large part possible thanks to the work of our dedicated volunteers and to the outstanding support of Artichoke Community Music.

Our web presence will continue without interruption on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SSVPDX.

We will continue to communicate via our Gmail account ssv4pdx@gmail.com and our records and materials will continue to reside on our shared Google Drive. If access to these folders has been shared with you, it should be unchanged. If you have difficulty, let us know by email.

There is much more of what we do best ahead—maybe even better as we leave some chores behind. In any case, we look forward to doing it together.
