Here's what will be happening on Sunday, January 30 at 2 p.m.

Sean will be Coaching and Ed will be Hosting.

Plan for Sunday is Open G Tuning

I have included a (2) page handout that will help get started playing Open G. You can print the exercise here.

There are (5) parts to be on your way.

1) Have guitar ready with tuner.

2) Have handouts printed and ready to learn

3) We will tune to Open G together, start off

by having guitar in normal tuning (E, A, D, G, B, E)

Low E tunes down to D

A tunes down to G

D, G, B stay the same

High E tunes down to D

4) We will learn how to understand Sean's notations

5) I will play through the charts and then we will go

step by step through the exercises getting comfortable

understanding the notation and playing the different

notes and patterns.

Depending how it all goes, we may spend the time

on this, or let it simmer and have time for sharing.
